Serving the community for over 60 years
Youth in Service
The Youth in Service program honors students who make service to others in the community a priority in their lives. The award strengthens any college, scholarship, or job application. All nominated students will receive certificates of commendation from elected national, state, and local officials, and they are recognized in an awards ceremony that is filmed for local cable television. At least one middle school and one high school student will be selected to receive financial scholarships. Nomination requires that both a student submission and a statement from a qualified nominator be received. Nominations are now closed. If you have questions please contact BhamYouthAssistance@gmail.com.
